TATTOO AS A NEW
ARTISTIC LANGUAGE

Ginarte turns to the art of tattooing for a limited edition that strengthens its dialogue with contemporary creative languages. The new release, designed by Edoardo Tabacchi, aka Sir Edward, one of the most recognized tattoo artists on the Milanese and Italian scene, unites different expressive universes, creating a collection in which the bottle becomes a narrative surface, reinterpreted through a simple, intimate, and profoundly symbolic graphic sign.

THE TATTOO MARK
ON THE BOTTLE

The collaboration with Sir Edward stems from a shared vision: to transform an iconic object into a contemporary work of art, capable of conveying universal values through an immediate visual language. Thanks to advanced inkjet technology, the illustrations are printed directly onto the bottle’s surface, enhancing a visual effect reminiscent of a tattoo on the skin: permanent, identifying, and personal. The result is a series of four bottles, each dedicated to one of the cardinal virtues—Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance—reinterpreted through the artist’s distinctive style.

THE FOUR CARDINAL VIRTUES: SYMBOL AND INTERPRETATION

The cardinal virtues, codified by Plato in “The Republic” and central to both classical philosophy and Western tradition, represent the moral pillars on which human action is based: Prudence, or the ability to discern the good and choose appropriate means to pursue it. Justice, the desire to give everyone their due, while respecting balance and others. Fortitude, strength of mind and determination in facing difficulties and fears. Temperance, or moderation and balance in the relationship with pleasures and impulses. Traditionally depicted as allegorical female figures, they are here reinterpreted by Sir Edward through a contemporary style, made of fine lines and essential compositions, while maintaining classical iconographic references: mirror and serpent, scales and sword, armor and column, vases and torches.

ABOUT SIR EDWARD

Edoardo Tabacchi, known as Sir Edward, is a leading figure in Milan’s contemporary tattoo scene. His artistic journey is rooted in his childhood, shaped by drawing and the cultural influences passed on by his mother, an art enthusiast and restorer. After pursuing an art education and working as a graphic designer, he chose to leave a conventional path behind to dedicate himself entirely to tattooing. His style is defined by a minimalist approach, characterized by fine black-and-white lines, delicate shading, and a deep devotion to the smallest details, combined with a strong narrative component developed through direct dialogue with each client. Every project begins with a personal exchange, transforming emotions and life experiences into permanent marks. In the heart of Milan, Sir Edward has created a private loft that reflects his artistic vision: an intimate, carefully curated studio where aesthetics and human connection seamlessly come together.
